Icon Equipment was called on to supply over 200 LF of trench shoring for a steam line project in Boston. The 12’ deep, 14’ wide excavation presented several challenges. In addition to a tight and busy jobsite, there were several existing utility crossings and the 200’+ run included three 90 degree turns. The sight constraints required that Icon coordinate deliveries of only the equipment that was to be installed in the next two work days. The utility crossings were easily handled with Icon’s Waler Frame and Utility Panel system.
To tackle the 90 degree turns, Icon provided its Internal Corner Rails and Standard Corner Rails which allow a seamless transition of Slide Rail installation through the turns in the excavation.
The next time your shoring needs present a unique challenge, call Icon Equipment to provide fast, cost effective solutions.
